Info-fi: A Year of Broken Promises
For the past year, info-fi has dominated the CT. If you’re influential, you love it. If you’re not, you hate it. That’s just how it goes.
However, there’s a deeper problem that nobody discusses: the algorithm is a black box.
Your feed isn’t determined by content quality; it’s determined by who the influential accounts already follow. If you’re not in the inner circle, you’re invisible. No matter how good your analysis is.
I’ve been frustrated by this for months. We all have. But let’s be honest, what choice did we have?
Then I Found Intuition
A few days ago, I read Billy’s article introducing Intuition, a protocol for curating knowledge and rewarding users for both creating and recognizing important data.
Something clicked. What if we could layer an social/info-fi system on top of Intuition? What if content curation wasn’t controlled by opaque algorithms, but by transparent, stake-weighted attestations?
I spent the last few days knee-deep in Intuition’s documentation, exploring what’s possible, what’s not and how to get the most out of it.
Here’s the usecase I came up with:
TrustFeed: Info-fi Without the Gatekeepers
TrustFeed is a stake-curated intelligence network where you decide what’s valuable, not an algorithm optimized for engagement.
How it works:
I. Stake on sources you trust → Build your personalized intelligence network.
II. Build your own personal trust graphs → A graph consisting of sources you trust and are interested in.
III. Attest to content quality → Earn rewards for spotting signal early.
IV. Filter noise → Separate the noise from the quality.
V. Own your reputation → Your curation history lives on-chain, portable across platforms.
No more hoping the algorithm shows you the right content. No more watching inferior takes go viral while quality analysis dies in obscurity.
Just transparent, economically-aligned curation where the best information rises to the top, not because some platform decided it should, but because people with skin in the game vouched for it.
When built on Intuitions DID layer, this can also extend user reputation across multiple dapps, expanding preferences, versatility of use and flexibility.
All powered by INTUITION!
