I’m the CEO and co-founder of Verida Network (www.verida.network) and we have spent the past two years working to create privacy preserving, decentralized storage infrastructure that leverages existing DID standards as much as possible.
Through the journey we have navigated issues with poor performance of DID methods, inadequate security of existing decentralized storage solutions, thinking carefully about UX when it comes to data sharing consent, enabling users to “claim” their personal data from web2 platforms, connecting private data to public blockchains, and much more.
